Longevity - Vegans live longer, why? We will see as we recognize each disease process on this list. Catherine Hagel - 114 year old Vegetarian, despite her advanced age, she took no medications. Loreen Dinwiddie 108 year old Vegan, Missi Devi 105 year old and many more.
Osteoporosis - This is unbelievable, but true. Milk contributes to osteoporosis, in fact, in my plan causes it. How? the mechanism is quite uncomplicated and has been known by the scientific community and the government for more than 100 years. I am a Registered Nurse, and was never taught this. Your physician may not even know this, its uncomplicated but unless you stop and think about it, you miss it. The mechanism by which dairy causes osteoporosis is as follows: You drink your milk, your blood chemistry becomes acidic from the animal protein (this will never happen with plant proteins). Human beings regularly have a neutral body and blood pH, once the body becomes acidic, the body must compensate, but how? Simple, the body releases calcium phosphate from the skeletal system which neutralizes the pH, great, except, that the calcium is not reabsorbed, it is excreted in the urine. The more dairy you consume the more bone mass you will loose. Why isn't anything telling you this? Money or perhaps ignorance. Ask your physician to do his/her own investigate on this issue. Remember that doc is just a human being and only knows what they've been taught.
Cancer - In the most allembracing study of human cusine ever conducted, "What protein consistently and strongly promoted cancer? Casein, which makes up 87% of cow's milk protein, promoted all stages of the cancer process. What type of protein did not promote cancer, even at high levels of intake? The safe proteins were from plants, including wheat and soy. As this photo came into view, it began to challenge and then to shatter some of my most cherished assumptions." - Dr. T. Colin Campbell, author of The China Study. Prostate cancer is one of the most coarse malignancies worldwide, with an estimated 400,000 new cases diagnosed annually. Its incidence and mortality have been linked with milk or dairy product consumption in international and interregional correlational studies. As a result, case - control and cohort studies have further investigated this connection and are described in this review. Of twelve case - control studies, six found necessary associations, as did five of eleven cohort studies, with relative risk of prostate cancer among those with the most frequent dairy product consumption rangng in the middle of 1.3 and 2.5, with evidence of a dose - response relationship. Mechanisms that may interpret this connection consist of the deleterious follow of high - calcium foods on vitamin D balance, the tendency of frequent dairy intake to growth serum insulin - like growth factor I (Igf - I) concentrations, and the follow of dairy products on testosterone concentration or activity.pcrm.org It is also fascinating to note than cancer can only survive in an acidic environment.
